I was raised up eating DKs when I visited my family in Waycross GA as a child. Today, it's harder to get to DKs since I rarely travel to Waycross. However, recently while in Douglas I was craving DKs, sadly to say their hours of operation was not convenient. The food is great! Very simple but good! I would like to see one open in Daytona Beach one day.
I wish i took pic of my food! I tried this place from the advise of some locals. I always luv a good BBQ! This place did not disappoint! The food was excellent! Had a BBQ sandwich and was very tasty just right amount of heat and meat was tender juicy. I highly recommend this BBQ spot if your ever in waycross GA!
The best BBQ sandwich in town. Went to this place with a local person that ate here since 1950 when they 1st opened. He told me this is the best pulled pork sandwich in town and DK did not disappoint us. They bun is so crunchy and the meat is melt in your mouth. This is a hole in the wall with just a few tables and it's reasonable price. I would love to come back here again.
